Bulldogs Lose Heartbreaker to Rival Springville

Like a scene from a movie, the winds shifted and the skies let out. The Tigers danced in the rain as they narrowly escaped a packed Kin Logan Stadium with a win in a thriller Friday night. Two late fourth quarter touchdowns sealed a Springville victory over Ashville, 33-22. It looked to be Ashville's game from the start as Springville fumbled on their first play from scrimmage and Derrick Walker took Ashville's first offensive play for a touchdown. Ashville Beats White Plains on Last Second Touchdown

There was a special feeling in the air on Friday in Ashville. The Bulldogs were hungry for a win after losing five straight games. What followed has been dubbed "The Miracle at Kin Logan." With the score tied at 20, the Bulldogs drove into White Plains territory to set up what was originally an attempt at a game winning field goal. A false start changed the mind of Coach Trey Pike to try for the "Hail Mary" instead. Quarterback Landon Cornutt rolled right to avoid being sacke

They have far exceeded the expectations that were set for them as they began their journey this summer. After months of work, these ladies have accomplished many things to b

    Dawgs Top Devils 33-32

Coach Trey Pike's debut as Ashville's head football coach did not disappoint, especially in terms of excitement. "We don't always like a squeaker, but at the end of the day, a win is a win, and we came out on top.
