"I first off want to thank God for allowing me the opportunity to coach such an amazing group of kids. They're truly a blessing to work with! I also want to say how proud of this team I am. These guys and girls work so tremendously hard day in and day out, and I'm so glad for that to finally pay off. We are a really young team, and we all expect great things from one another. With the work that they are all putting in, we are going to run some truly awesome times before this season is over."

The girls' team averaged a time of 23:21, and the boys' team averaged a time of 19:15.
