Ashville Bulldogs

Ashville's Cross Country competed well in Class 4A Region 3 Sectionals on Friday, November 2nd. Ashville's 3rd ranked Girls' team dominated their competition, coming in 1st place overall and advancing to the State Competition on November 10th. Meghan McCarthy, Kathleen McCarthy, Taylor Knight, Molly Northam, Emma Thompson, and Grace Staples will travel to represent AHS at the State Meet on Saturday. Wyatt Knight will also advance to the State Meet on November 10th for placing

It was a great weekend for the Ashville Cross Country team as the Boys' finished 10th overall and the Girls' made the top ten as well, finishing 8th in their division. Meghan McCarthy led the Girls' team with a 14th overall finish and a time of 20:27:09. Daniel Tully led the Boys' with a time of 16:59:10 and a school-record 12th place finish. Ashville Cross Country takes home more trophies after a great weekend at the Good Hope High School Cross Country Inivitational. The Varsity Boys came home with the championship led by a second place individual finish from Daniel Tully and a sixth place individual finish from Cesar Segura. The Varsity Girls took Runner-up at the invitational led by runners, Meghan McCarthy, Callie Stewart, and Kathleen McCarthy who individually placed fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. (P

The Ashville High School Boys' AND Girls' Cross Country teams dominated at the St. Clair County Invitational on Saturday, September 17th. The two teams took 1st place in the 1A-4A division, producing a girls' and boys' first place finisher in Meghan McCarthy and Daniel Tully, respectively.
