Ashville Football is about community, and we want this program to be something that members of the Ashville Family can be proud of when someone talks about Ashville. - Head Coach Shea Monroe
Football has partnered with Pure Game Sports to raise $12,000 to upgrade helmets, shoulder pads, and facilities like David Todd Wilson Memorial Fieldhouse. Pure Game Sports offers online donation platforms for sports teams like the Bulldogs. Individuals can sponsor a player or donate on behalf of an alumnus. Anonymous donations are also accepted on the platform. Click here to donate.
We've made huge progress upgrading our program's standards and our facilities, but we have a long road ahead. We want to improve on what we have and honor the history of the program at the same time. - Coach Nick Wilson
Planned improvements include new helmets and practice equipment (dummies, sleds, and practice jerseys). Upgrades to David Todd Wilson Memorial Fieldhouse have also been planned. "We want to tie in the historic components of the program's history with the future that Coach Monroe and our staff have planned. Honoring our past and those coaches and players that came before us is key to making sure that our future has a solid foundation tied to the community," said Nick Wilson, Assistant Coach and Director of Football Operations. "Without our community, this program doesn't thrive."
Recent improvements include: new flooring in the football locker room, equipment hallway, and coaches' office; new trap bars, weight room mirrors, bar holders, dumbbell racks, and motivational signage. A new storage building was also installed to safely organize and house all grounds equipment. Click here to donate.
The development of our student-athletes is paramount in what our athletic program strives to do. Advancing the tools that they have at their disposal will allow us to train and compete at a higher level. - Coach Jesse Clark
