'Ashville All-Access' Debuts

The Ashville Sports Foundation and Ashville Athletics have announced a new home for all athletic events live-streamed on Ashville High School's campus: Ashville All-Access.

Ashville All-Access will be a hybrid "freemium" service similar to Spotify where fans can watch all home events on www.AshvilleAthletics.com and Ashville Athletics' social media accounts for free and then subscribe to Ashville All-Access for on-demand viewing later.

Calvin Bailey, Chairman of the Ashville Sports Foundation, is excited about the new opportunity for Ashville Athletics.

It allows us to broadcast all events live and for free but then allows the fans to subscribe to watch it later...kind of like Netflix. They can watch it live on our website or social media for free, and then catch it later on Ashville All-Access as long as they're a subscriber. It's pretty cool.

Fans and viewers can visit www.AshvilleAthletics.com to watch and subscribe or they can download the Team1Sports app on their mobile or streaming device to watch the Dawgs on the go.

We can still promote our sponsors on the live broadcast but offer a place where all of our home events are stored and shared that gives our kids and parents a new way to keep some of their athletic memories close at hand for years to come.

Beginning in 2020, Ashville Athletics entered into an agreement with Agile Sports Technology Inc. to leverage their Hudl Focus Camera System to stream all home athletic events that occured in Ashville High School's gymnasium. Since that time, Ashville Athletics has added another Hudl Focus Camera System to Kin Logan Stadium, allowing Ashville Football and Ashville Soccer to join Volleyball, Basketball, and Wrestling in the livestream space.

Ashville Athletics will stream to other platforms like Facebook and YouTube, but all broadcasts will be removed immediately after the broadcast ends. Ashville All-Access will remain the only place where Ashville fans can watch athletic events on-demand at a later time.

The Ashville Sports Foundation and Hudl have partnered to bring about the new Ashville All-Access streaming service to Ashville fans.

Fans can subscribe to the service for a monthly or yearly rate, and view any event previously livestreamed.

Ashville High School's Director of Athletics, Shea Monroe, echoed Mr. Bailey's sentiments when asked about the new live-streaming service.

We're excited about the opportunity to bring more of the Ashville Family to the world while also making sure we have the chance to generate more revenue to support our student-athletes for the foreseeable future.

The new service will be managed and operated by the Ashville Sports Foundation as a new way to generate revenue to support Ashville student-athletes and capital improvements across Ashville High School's athletic facilities.
